Prof. Ronit Satchi-Fainaro, Principal Investigator of TIMNano and Head of the Cancer Research and Nanomedicine Laboratory at Tel Aviv University, has received the ICRS Award for Outstanding Achievements in Drug Delivery during the 14th Annual Meeting of the Israel Controlled Release Society (ICRS).
The award recognizes her longstanding contributions to the field of drug delivery and her research at the interface of nanomedicine, cancer biology and translational therapeutics.
During the meeting, Prof. Satchi-Fainaro delivered a scientific lecture and joined researchers and experts from across Israel working on advanced drug delivery systems, biomaterials and innovative therapeutic approaches.
Research in targeted drug delivery and nanomedicine is also at the core of TIMNano, which aims to develop a novel Targeted Nano-Immune Modulator platform for gastrointestinal cancers.
This recognition further highlights the scientific expertise supporting the project and the broader research environment in which TIMNano is being developed.
